What is CRM?

Customer Relationship Management as a term is almost self explanatory. Nevertheless you will meet numerous version of explanations if you ask you colleagues , suppliers and friends.

 

In ChannelCRM we define CRM as the handling of all relations and actions (with the intend to achieve something) between your company and persons in other companies. Other customers can off course be your customers, but it could also be prospects, partners, competitors, suppliers, or the partners of you customers, ...To "achieve something" is off course to sell. But it could very well be related things; to extend a message, to establish contact, to make a subject do something.

 

What will you get from CRM?

 

The purpose of CRM must be to achieve more than you would have without CRM. More specifically it would be to sell more to your existing customers and to sell more to brand new customers.
